Weekend Homework
Welcome to another weekend! Here is some "homework" for you to learn from this weekend in between the cookouts and Netflix movies:
- If you are looking to bring about change where you serve, Seth Godin says to focus on the edges.
- Perfect should never be our goal in life (or work really). We should aim to be present. Perfectionism won't change the world; relationships will.
- Empart is a ministry that I just learned about this week at the Global Leadership Summit. Learn about their audacious goal to see 100,000 communities transformed in southern Asia by 2030 here.
- There has been alot of conversation recently on how not-for-profits spend their money. This charity in Malawi is one of the latest to come under questioning on how accountable they are with their resources.
One of the highlights of my week was getting to learn at part of the Global Leadership Summit this year. Did you attend as well? Comment below with your #1 take-away from the week!
Have a great weekend!
