Check Out These 3 Resources This Weekend

Here is your weekly dosage of Weekend Homework where I share some of the videos, quotes, podcasts, and articles that taught me the most (and challenged me greatly) over the past week.

Get studying:

  1. Want to increase your success in a particular area? Get rid of your safety nets. Seth Godin explains why in this post.
  2. We may actually be making some headway in the fight against poverty in the United States. The US Census Bureau just released their annual report and their research shows that the number of people in poverty fell by 3.5 million between 2014 and 2015. Read more from the report and some of the good news it shares here.
  3. Short and sweet. That is how I would describe my favorite podcast episode from this week. In one of his "in-betweenisodes", Tim Ferriss released this episode: "Practicing What You Preach" from The Tao of Seneca. My favorite line from it is the definition of wisdom as always wanting the same things and always refusing the same things. The whole podcast has some great thoughts to chew on. Listen to it here.

Which of the three resources is your favorite? Let me know in the comments section below.

And, as always, if you enjoy this post please share it on you favorite social media platform with your friends and followers! I greatly appreciate your support and your help in spreading the word!

Have a great weekend - and keep it classy!
